Double-shaft hammer crushers are mainly used in the cement industry for the comminution of soft to medium-hard.
Application
Double-shaft hammer crushers are mainly used in the cement industry for the comminution of soft to medium-hard, but also moist and tough materials: Limestone, Gypsum, Chalk, Clay and Marl, as well as Lignite and Pit Coal. The crushing of the feed material is effected by percussion, impact and shear forces.
Equipment
Two counter-rotating rotors crush feed material of up to 1,600 mm edge length. An anvil is located centrally between the two rotors, which directs the processed material onto grate baskets. These grates, which serve to restrict the amount of oversize, are mounted on a grate carriage and can be completely withdrawn from the crusher housing for servicing and maintenance purposes.

Application
This series of primary impact crushers is used in the cement, aggregate and recycling industries.
For aggregate production and recycling industry, the HPI impact crusher is used in the pre-crushing role without a grinding path.
The single rotor primary impact crusher of the HPI series is used in the cement industry with grinding path, for the production of a raw material with an ideal grain size distribution for further grinding in vertical roller mills.
Equipment
The rotor can handle feed material up to 3 m³. The HPI crusher has two impact aprons and can additionally be equipped with a grinding path. The gap settings of the impact aprons grinding path can be varied by means of spindles or via hydraulic cylinder, thus allowing for optimum control of the end product granulometry. The grinding path restricts the amount of oversize.

HAZEMAG redefines the secondary crushing technology
The new HAZEMAG concept unites our know-how of more than 60 years combined with the practical experience and the demands of the plant operators. The HSI series has been designed for the economic secondary crushing and, depending on its configurations, processing of either soft and medium-hard or hard rocks is effected.
It is a modular system with the objective of fulfilling every scope of work in the bulk goods industry. The machine’s fittings as well as its control may be modularly adapted to the individual requirements and wishes of the operators – even up to a fully automatic mode. Depending on the properties of the feed material, the crushing ratio and the desired requirements on the product grain size, feed sizes of up to 450 mm and throughput rates of 700 t/h max. are possible.
COMPOUND CRUSHER | HPC

The Compound Crusher HPC is used as a primary crusher in the cement industry. This double-rotor crusher generates a material suitable as feed material for ball mills in raw cement meal production.
Equipment
Two-stage crushing within a single housing by two co-rotating rotors operating in tandem. The 1st rotor crushes the feed rocks of up to 3 m³ in volume; the 2nd rotor, which runs at a higher speed, reduces the feed material to product size. The HPC crusher has 2 or 3 impact aprons and a grinding path; the settings are controlled either by spindles and/or hydraulics, therefore allowing for optimum control of the end product granulometry. The grinding path restricts the amount of oversize.

The utilised crusher must meet stringent requirements of today’s time when processing rocks, ores and coals. Materials to be crushed become more and more difficult in terms of handling, high throughput capacities are required and the energy input is a key focus.
Furthermore, crushing plants have changed to compact solutions due to investment cost. Consequently, crushers with low space requirements are having advantages, even for fully-mobile systems. Therefore the application of energy-efficient roll sizers with high throughput rates becomes more and more important from the economic and ecologic point of view.
